Battery discharged and charged

Hello there readers! I know its been awhile… to be exact 29 days since my last entry. But I’m glad to be back! April…. oh damn you April. It’s been a hard month, specially with the freaking income tax forms. Mine was the short form but still =/ argh! Although can’t wait for my tax refund! I hear its gonna be a nice amount $$$ CAAASSHHHIIIIINNN!!! $_$ Hopefully with that I’ll get my new laptop ^.^ Yeah a new laptop bitches, with the release of Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3 around the corner I need a new baby that can run those games. Hopefully I won’t spend no more then $1600 on a new computer…

ANYWAYS before I loose my train of thought!

Often we are so involved in our daily life…work….studies…family.. that sometimes we just forget to take time off and enjoy life. This is a must! There most be a balance between work and responsibilities and simply having a carefree day. And today my friend… was one of those days for me!

I can’t tell you how it feels waking up in the morning without an alarm clock or thinking “OH SHIT I OVERSLEPT I’M GONNA BE LATE!” (which is my story at least once a week :-/ ) Just waking up having a light breakfast, and just hit the road.

Today I spent it with my lovely girlfriend. We just disconnected from the world for about 5-6 hours. We went to Old San Juan, had lunch at a place called “La Bombonera” which I had never gone too and tommorow monday their going to close operations, I do not know if its permanently or just for innovations. BUT! I was not going to risk it.

After that we walked a little but around San Juan and had a nice cup of coffee at Cafe Cuatro Sombras (Coffee Four Shadows). It’s a nice homegrown coffee shop besides Vaca Brava (Where the old Hard Rock Cafe used to be) It’s a nice small comfy dark place. Where you have one of the best coffee I have tasted.

If you have a chance make sure to go visit, you will taste one of the finest homegrown coffee. Here’s their Facebook Page.

After a nice lunch and a really good cup of coffee we were off to the beach.

You don’t know how long I been waiting to go the beach. And finally I was able too! I took my big ass quilt, laid it on the sand, and just sit back, relaxed and look at the ocean…

The mind is a powerful thing, but I needs a day off as well. Once every now and then we need to kill the routine, go out and just enjoy life with the people you love. There’s nothing better than having a day like this to combat stress.

Today I discharged my battery. And charged it back up with positive clean energy. Ready to take on another week of work, studies and simply… life.

If we don’t take a moment to stop and breath, appreciate and enjoy life then is it worth killing yourself over work and been unhappy…? That’s what I thought!

So go on! Have your lazy day, go out, do nothing, and just simply enjoy life the way you want ;-)

PS:

Uncertainty

Sometimes we get into a crossroad where you don’t know where you are going. That’s the moment when life slaps in you in the face and makes you react. It’s up too you to make the right choice at the right time.

Those are the moments when you have have to take that deep breath, and let the last energy burst out and make the best of the situations. Life is full of steps and sometimes we hit and fall, life is never easy. But we need to make the best of it.

When stricken down, you get up stronger and wiser.

Don’t let the crossroads get you down. Gather yourself up and keep your path to success and happiness.

Sportsmanship Let Your Game Do The Talking

Sportsmanship is an aspiration or ethos that a sport or activity will be enjoyed for its own sake, with proper consideration for fairness, ethics, respect, and a sense of fellowship with one’s competitors. A sore loser refers to one who does not take defeat well, whereas a good sport means being a “good winner” as well as being a “good loser”.

Sometimes we just don’t have all the answers that we want in life nor we can explain everything that happens to us. And to be honest I fucking hate it. I like to know things… I like to be in control or my life of my future. I don’t plan EVERYTHING out but I always like to have something to look forward to and achieve. I think its just human nature to look for that sense of purpose in life, its like its fucking programmed in our brain and when we doubt yourself the most the switch turns ON and all hell breaks loose.
